Microphone and Audio Features
Some tools require access to your microphone. Your browser should ask for permission before allowing a feature to receive microphone input.
Our current microphone tools process audio in the same way:
- They process audio locally within your browser.
- They do not record your voice or upload audio to our server.
Where a tool accepts an audio file, such as the note detector, the file is also decoded and analysed in your browser rather than uploaded. We do not currently use an external third-party audio-analysis API.
Before using a microphone or audio feature, you are responsible for ensuring that:
- You have permission to use the microphone and device
- The audio belongs to you or you have permission to provide it
- You are not recording another person without appropriate permission
- Your use complies with applicable laws and third-party rights

Permission to Process Your Input
